Love, a word that was shared.
I sit here with my pen in my hand
Waiting to write down the next inspiration...
But when will it come?
I sit here with my coffee,
a cup that reflects the darkness within me
Bittersweet it tastes,
But its more than nothing
I sit here with my words on my paper
the ones that I tried to type so long ago
Hers flow through my mind
Bringing thoughts of clouds
But clouds disappear within the night sky
I sit here with a blank sheet in front of me
A new beginning,
the one thing that everyone wishes they had
a way to start a new Story
with a new ending
But I’ve yet to start with a single word
I sit here with all my thoughts and memories
A point in time where not a single word mattered
and life just bloomed,
the paper was not blank, nor did my pen stay still
The clouds never appeared, and my night was illuminated
A time where the Sun and Moon danced
But those times are over
And that’s okay.
