A SYMBOL OF LOVE

The cross she wears on a chain
Reminds her of all the pain
He suffered for her
When He hung on the tree

And the cross reminds her of His love
And how He came from above
To minister and to heal
Before Him she kneels

And as she looks upon the cross
She realizes He died to pay the cost
To save her soul from hell
Of His love she must tell

For when she wears the symbol of her King
Her heart wants to sing
And shout about the love He shows
And how He carries all their woes

So when others see her wear a cross
May they be reminded of the cost
That Love paid when he died for them
May they in His name trust
