Who’s the Culprit?

A small group of people who survived the end, climbed out of their deep remote underground cave to survey the damage to their village. They had been cut off from the world for fear that the end was near. All they found was burned out homes, no plant life, and dead bodies. Was it world-wide? Was it from a war, a massive fire? It couldn’t have been from a flood because everything was charred.

Was mankind the culprit? Was one man to blame? Did the world end from another world war? In the age that global technology brought people together as a family, how could one man from one country think that he could make them turn upon each other? Could he have thought that if the world ended, that he would have survived himself? Is he or his country invincible? Nothing and nobody is.
