The New Regime

The New Regime

The traitors were lined up in front of the firing squad with black hoods covering their eyes about to meet their fate. They had opposed the dreaded dictator’s way of thinking.   As the shots rang out, the cries from the widows and children could be heard echoing through the valley of death.
His son was next in line to succeed his dictatorship.  He tried to instill in his head his philosophical reasoning as to why his executions tactics were necessary.  The smaller the opposing forces are, the easier it is to enslave the people to his way of thinking, and the easier it is to steal their money and rape their wives and daughters.
At the executions, his son gloated over the killings to please his father, but deep down in his heart, he couldn’t wait for him to die, so he could lead them in his own benevolent way.  At his father’s deathbed, his son vowed to continue with the killings, but so what if he betrayed his father by opposing his wishes.   He was a monster.
After his death, his son started up the new regime.  The corrupt police force was driven out of the village.  He converted his father’s palace into housing for the poor.  He gave the land to them so they could grow and sell their own crops.  He paid the builders with the money his father stole from them to erect a temple for worship.  Everything was done in the way that God would have wanted.
Betrayal is justified when it opposes tyranny, the Devil’s workshop.  If God would have wanted it to continue, he would have wanted the people to submit to it.  Since Jesus was rebellious, God must have condoned it when he willed that nature into his own son.  The meek shall inherit the earth, and their leader shall lead them to it.
