The Abstention

Her conducting herself with a healthy foresight is her with a caution for the future, when pleasure is negated and abstinence is affirmed. As she refrains today from over-indulgence, tomorrow’s craving is not as intense as it was the day before.
Each day becomes easier to rid herself of the craving until she feels the effects of her abstinence, the peace and virtue she found while setting her mind above her appetite, and when over-indulgence became painful and no longer a craving to fulfill.
