That Ole' Leprechaun

That Ole’ Leprechaun

So that sly ole’ leprechaun thought he was pulling a fast one on me, eh.  He told me that the gold was buried next to one of the trees, and that he was going to tie a red ribbon around it.  All I had to do was to go get the shovel and then come back to dig it out.
When I got back, I saw that he tied red ribbons around all the trees and then disappeared.  He probably hid some place and laughed at the look on my face when I found out what he had done; that sly ole’ fox.
If I can ever find him again, I have a trick to play on him.  I’ll steal his tap hammer, then line up all the customers to come to his shoe shop so he can repair all their shoes.  When he can’t find his hammer, I can’t wait to see the look on his face and the look on their faces when they get mad at him for not fixing their shoes.  That’s a good way to get even with that ole’ leprechaun, heh, heh, heh.
