Tech Babies

Two kinds of tech babies:
Babies who hide inside clever rooms,
Who come out to invent another conundrum,
Who add layers upon layers of conundrums,
Who add new buttons to perplexing buttons,
As if the previous ones were understood,
Who keep them high above any reasoning,
Who laugh at those who don’t understand,
Who applaud themselves
For their accomplishments,
Who laugh at us seniors lost in a fog,
Who can’t figure out
How to use their cell phones,
Those damn technological
Genius babies, exercising
Their superior intelligence.

And the other kind of tech babies:
Who help their grandpas make a call,
Who live in the same room
As the afore mentioned babies,
But in defiance of their
Methods of invention,
Who explain step by step
How to call somebody;
Good little sympathetic babies
Who are nice to their grandpas.

Alas, there are also
The rescuing kind of babies.
