Purification
To life in its swirling masses
And answers still in hiding
From pure springs and sacred homes
A life emerged, swathed in innocence
Wayward truths were thrown his way
By good intentions, but pride so blinded
Wrapping its tail around his air supply
Pulled him into a maze called religion
Religion’s submission, his holy salvation
When love unfolded its heroic wings
Purified his soul, his avenue to joy
Cleansed his spirit, his private baptism
Spiraling up to heaven, his sacred journey
Through spaces and beyond he went
His brand new home in the golden kingdom
Taken in by love’s velvet arms
