Poet Engines

Poet engines in the still of the day
As the supple pistons begin to sway
Moving up and down and outward bound
Playing with the lions and goblins found

Moving away but yet inside the mind
Engines rolling of a different kind
With wings attached to fly aloft
To rugged mountains on cliffs so soft

Fly away we go with spirited hearts
In hovering surreys and purple cars
Poets we are with poet engines
Cranking out verses and wild imagines
What fun we have throughout the day
Full steam ahead with words at play.
