Macho Man

Macho Man

The cards were stacked against me
Life so cruel, would not let me be
All I had was my strength and my will
One step ahead of who’s out for the kill

For my dignity I’ll stand up and fight
When overmatched, I fight with all my might
I have the advantage with my fiery spirit
My heart is pure, but my frenzy they can fear it

Though born out of poverty it purified my heart
I rose from the ashes right from the start
Nothing given to me, I earned it all
With my man made conscience, I answered the call

I heard the spirit as it screamed at me
Keep the faith for it will set you free
Those with no conscience are the first to crumble
Those who follow, see them as they stumble

Though life is cruel to you
Never lose sight of your
Worthiness and honor
