Inspiration

Dear God.  Please let me stay in this moment of mine that I’m so blessed with as long as you will have me.  I don’t know what my name is.  I know that I am suspended between heaven and earth, weightless as the mist that hovers over the valley.  I see you leaning over the mountain, smiling with the children with your gentleness, and revealing your power with your thundering skies.  I can feel your hand feeding me the thoughts to think, the words to say, and the song to sing.  I can breathe your wisdom as the rose breathes it into space.  Heaven has touched my spirit with its many fingers and cleared my mind from all earthly doubts.  My inspiration is at its peak for now, but soon, I know, it will abandon me where my name will come back to me, and my feet will touch the ground again  For this, I am most grateful to Thee.  Thank you, my Lord and Master.  Amen.
