Influential Guidance

Marriage is the goal achieved when the heart chooses the mate to bind with. After it loses its influence, obligation takes over for the sake of the children, the victims of the breaking of that bond.

Little boy, my sympathy goes out to you. You have no paternal guidance. Your father broke the marital bond and left you with no one to identify with. His morality that he abused couldn’t be passed down to the next generation. You have nobody to show you the joy of fellowship. You coulnd’t see the joy in a father’s eyes when he was in the company of others. You couldn’t inherit that feeling.  He left you with no way to witness good fellowship.

He left you on your own to choose your friends and find out where their friendship will lead you. It is up to you now to be able to discern between the good and the bad. Maybe you will choose the good for the sake of yourself and morality; but maybe the bad to desecrate its purpose. Maybe you won’t choose any. Maybe you will alienate yourself from all fellowship. Maybe you will never find the feeling of good fellowship and draw your own conclusions of what it is. Maybe you will rebel from what you think of it and what it will do to you. Maybe it was a fantasy that made you believe that way.

It wasn’t all your fault for estranging yourself from people and killing the innocent who supported good fellowship, but now you paid for what you did for your violent retribution.  Fatherless or not, what you did was wrong.

I still can't stop thinking about the heinous slaughter of the innocent kids by that monster in Texas.
