Cotton Candy Blues

A fun filled day at the carnival so grand
until her little girl spotted the cotton candy stand.
With her hair so shiny and neatly brushed,
clean hands and hair tightly trussed,
she darted over to where the candy was
with her mom on a mission so dangerous.
She gobbled up the candy without a care
and got that sticky stuff all in her hair.
Next time mom, don’t let her see the cotton candy
and keep the handy wipes so near and handy.
