Broadcast Blues Man

Herbert the broadcast blues man of fame,
lives in his house on Cherry Lane,
too scared to come out of his rubber room
in fear of the world caving in too soon.

A victim of too much TV he is for sure,
for him he thinks there is no cure.
There’s no place to go when the bombs go off,
when the world blows up and sends him aloft.

Herbert, too scared to come out and breathe,
glued to the news, can’t get up and leave.
The bombs are coming, the guns are blazing,
Everybody’s nuts and the world’s gone crazy.
“Live a little Herbert and go outside.
Have some fun and enjoy the ride.”
