HERE I AM, A CHILD OF GOD
I am not the great “I am” (Ex 3:14), but by the grace of God, I am what I am (1 Cor 15:10)
Here I am, a child of God
Lacking nothing here
And nothing to save
In the present and future,
That of my past insecurity, impurity, guilt, worry
And depression that tormented
My human beingness
Because I am not the great “I AM”, but by the grace of God, I am what I am
.
Here I am, a child of God
Right with the almighty
And myself again,
By the grace conferred to me
Am a new being
With a new mind, soul and heart,
Singing the worship and praises
Of the throne of creation.
Because I am not the great “I AM”, but by the grace of God, I am what I am
Here I am, a child of God
My eyes glittering in
Determination and courage
To crush the old man,
His fleshly desires
And put to death
All that bog me down
On spirit-filled walk of life.
Because I am not the great “I AM”, but by the grace of God, I am what I am
Christ is the epicenter of every aspect of my life, i have been saved, redeemed and forgiven
