refuge
...though silent our prayers are heard...at all times blessings we receive...ndr
refuge
in our heart hope resides
every beat an affirmation
of the goodness that can come
from the firmament we believe
in our heart resides love
seeded by our parents
nurtured in our mother’s womb
empathy and sentience in place
innate the love for life...
we live it many different ways
extend our hand to a soul in need
least we can do to evoke a smile
many different loving ways
we travel with faith the pathway of life
God has shown us... keeping us safe
until He knows the hour for us...
to be in His shadow our refuge
...the moment we embrace
