A waxing crescent moon
Among sequins of stars
Hand in hand
Around an indigo lagoon
Mirror we see
Images of ourselves
A magical moment
Neath a moonlit radiance
Our eyes tenderly kissed
Hand in hand
Our fingers gently interlaced
Our hearts settled to a single beat
Breathing taking in the same life air
Singular deep affection into our being
As we’ve done many times before
Along a quiet cool meadow river
This blessed twilight to dusk stroll
In sync our steps hands clasped in love
A love to keep natured and nourished evermore
Hand in hand until stars are no more
