Solitary Mind

My Battles In Silence

In the stillness of the night
the shadows stretch long and weary.

I fight my battles in silence
of those that resonate in the heart
where hope flickers like a candle,
fighting against the wind.

Thoughts march through the mist
each one a soldier,
clothed in doubt,
but laden with dreams,
fragile as glass,
as sharp as to cut the stillness.

I remember the rain on dry lips
how it dances on the pavement
a reminder that even the earth
cries out for renewal,
the promise of tomorrow.

In the silence, I find my voice,
a page turned in a book,
each word a memorial page,
soft but heavy,
carrying the scent of what was
and of what could be.

I gather the pieces of my spirit
like a painter with colors
each shade a testament to survival,
of beauty in the cracks,
where the light seeps through,
and the heart learns to thrive.

I long for the warmth of the sun’s embrace,
the heat that melts the frost of loneliness,
but in this darkness, I learn
to balance myself with my shadows,
to find strength in silence,
to think with passion,
with fire,
realizing that even in difficult times,
the soul can rise again,
like a wild wolf,
from the depths of despair.
