Write or not

Surrender

Moving, rolling, running, stretching
feeling free.
Into the day, the night, the moment,
any moment without reservation or hesitation.

Letting anything, everything, all or none.
Just move, glide and ride the motion.
Trusting nothing, expecting anything.
Being free to evolve.

Riding a stream that knows no boundaries,
has no rules to break or make
can move you to be serious, silly, light or tight.
Showing true colours or none at all.

Free to run from all that is or could or must be.
Then abandoning yourself only to find more of all that is part
of what is bigger or smaller than the imagination could see.

Touching the ecstasy of our realness
Then fall into the abyss of nothing.
Darkness and Light at any moment.
Feeling everything or being numb to all.
To have the courage to cry, to smile or spit and yell.
Something moves all or nothing as we continue to feel.

I wrote this poem in response to the immobilizing fear that comes when we over edit / listen over analyze to write. We begin to lose our connection to that source your writing comes from and in fact where all life comes from.
