Oh the places we could go;
The dreams that we could dream,
Just take my hand and we shall fly
On clouds of clotted cream
To the land that floats above the ground
Where we will entertain
The court of the land’s Giant King
Who makes the storm clouds rain.
Next let’s dig far beneath the earth
To the fields of rolling flame
Where jewels grow like flowers
And the stones each have a name.
Then let us dive beneath the waves
Of oceans wide and deep
Where our ringing laughter might wake
Ancient giants from their sleep.
Let’s vacation to the Moon
Where silver ravens come to fly
Over long abandoned castles
Underneath the starry sky.
Then let’s travel to the Sun
Where the phoenixes still play
In gardens of golden fruit
Under the endless light of day.
Perhaps we’ll go to quiet woods
(My favorite place to be)
Where above the cooling breezes
Floats the music of the trees.
Then when we’ve seen all there is to see
Or at least so it would seem,
At home we’ll snuggle in our bed.
Just you, me, and our dreams.
