What is Needed

I hate that listening to the wrong song can remind me.
Of everything that happened and what we used to be.
When I think of you time decides to turn around on me.
I push forward until I have you in my arms like we used to be.
 
I’ve tried to keep my head on straight for nobody else but you.
I have noticed that this is what I will have to be willing to do.
I have been working harder in school; I will do it for you.
Because for you? If for you that is something I am willing to do.
