Taker or Giver?

The gods coming through the skies seeking worship.
People breaking new grounds seeking companionship.
Life beating down on individuals taking their prime.
Homeless begging but won’t work for the dime.
Lovers looking reason for change.
Off to new places but when home it feels so strange.
When god gives grace we take advantage.
Some live in the safety while others take the damage.
Take some time reflect on yourself and see where you stand.
If you are a taker or the one who lends a helping hand.
So thank the lord for the things you have been givin.
Because if you do not appreciate, you aint livin.
