ERA’S PASSING MAMMA 'S

REFLECTIONS AND RIPPLES ON MOMMY

All the mama’s born doing the prewar depression era days...
the suffering The dust bowls Terra firma or terror ways! The crash, the depression, the draught, THE DEATHS!
The marauder’s, marketeers, murderers, MESS!

THE  TEARS, YEARS, FEARS AND TRIUMPHANT CHEERS OF THE MAMMA’S! THE WEEPING, WAILING, WINNING. THE STRIVING, SINKING, SWIMMING, SINNING! THE MAMMA’S HAVE MARKED ALL. KEPT ACCURATE THE LEDGERS AND LETTERS... THE FIELD GOALS & FALLS!

Like a great lead matriarch female elephant, on the plains, Savannah’s, in the forests and jungles of great and mighty Africa, they will never forget! They have wagered and cast the lots, then won the bet.... They leased and they let, all debts were met! They balanced the books! The future they SET!!! As best they could, anyway. Futures are fickle fields of endeavor.

THEY SHIELDED, SAVED AND SURVIVED THOSE WORLD  WARS OUR MEN FOLK THREW UP ON US. THEY TENDED AND NURSED. THEY STAUNCHED THE BLOOD AND PUSS! THEY NAVIGATED THE WIN AND THE LOSS! THEY SALVAGED ALL THE NECESSARY MATERIALS, THOSE DEEMED UNNECESSARY WERE TOSSED....THEY KEPT THE HOME FIRES BURNING . AND STILL BECAME ROSIE THE RIVETER, THE PAYCHECK EARNING.

Those Mamma’s of that bygone era are almost extinct, very few left. THEY are being laid to rest by the thousands every single day. THEY go without fuss, muss or fanfare, that’s they’re way.... THANK GOD FOR THOSE WOMEN! WHAT WOULD WE HAVE DONE WITHOUT EM??!!
