By the sea, I feel free

I like to take walks by the sea,
It is there that I feel most free,
Seagulls flocking looking for a morsel,
Anything to eat and stay alive,
Occasionally, a mullet will leap up high,
As I near, the seagulls fly,
The waves hitting up against the shore,
Makes me wander,
“Who’s been here before?”
I look across the horizon and see,
A huge ship slipping across the sea,
I think a bit more,
How much the sea shore I adore?
How lovely is this day?
Come what may,
I do not ever want to leave this place,
As the sea breeze touches my face,
By the sea, is where I long to be,
It is there that I feel most free,
I like to take walks by the sea.

Living close to the sea makes things appear so clear. May there always be creativity because of her, the sea.
