Last kiss

If I only had a last kiss to give
I would give that kiss to you
I would give to you my final kiss
So you would know my words are true
 
I would hold you close, whisper in your ear
Of love That has no word
And with eyes wide open let you see
A word that can’t be heard
 
If I only had one tear to shed it would fall for what can’t be
I would drop my final tear my love so that you could plainly see
 
With final touch fingers brush and rest upon your cheek
And with that touch so gentle soft you would have the love you seek
 
I would take last breath to say the things I know you long to hear
And With last breath you would know my heart
Forever yours my dear
