Ocean of sadness
I sat at the ocean shore
My heart held in my hand
Watched in desperation
The waves grasp for land
Never ending want
I watched the seas roll on
Wandering thoughts
Of what was once.. and now it is gone
I saw my broken heart
Once whole, strong and true
And wept my healing tears
Of a passion held for you
I saw in my broken heart
just like the wanting sea
That the love I felt so deep
Was one, that could never be.....
