If I could go back in time
If I could go back in time,
I would go back to a time when I wanted the world to stand still,
back when everything was perfect, just the way it was.
If I could go back in time,
I would photograph every smile in my mind,
and memorize how it sounded every time I heard you laugh,
because that’s when life was beautiful.
If I could go back in time,
I would never grow up;
to be young and carefree, and to not have to worry about anything,
except how much we loved each other.
That’s what I would go back to if I could go back in time.
