Look into my eyes
And you will see
That there is
A hidden side of me;
Darkness hollows the night
Yet things go on clear of fright
The birds sing
The Shadows scream
Trying to break free
I’m a shadow
I’m trapped in a world
Evil to the eye
My soul clenched
My heart warped
My mind gone
There is nothing left of me
I used to see in color
Nothing was dull
Darkness overcame
Now I’d rather see nothing at all
I’m scared
I don’t like to be on my own
I can’t trust myself
The things might do
The scars are visible
To all who can see
The reminder of the cuts
Oh so deep
I am a monster
I am uncontrollable
My mind is wandering
The doors are opening
