PTSD
I can hear the bombs exploding,
Bodies flying everywhere
This place is very dry,
Smoke and debris in the air
I hear a loud scream,
I wake up Sweating, panting.
It was only just a dream,
What the hell just happened?
I can hear a slam from a door
And then I’m slowly reminded,
Boots landing, hitting the floor
An attack that was blindsided
War has taken a toll
And it’s clear from me.
It feels like it’s been carved in my soul.

A taste of PTSD a mental Sickness made from tragic moments, In this one is a probably like a small taste of what hundreds and thousands of military men went through (i'm lucky to not experience that, let alone deploying.
