Been raining all morning
Grey gloomy the sky
In a darkened room I sat
Thinking, half awake
 
I love inclement days
No excuse needed
To wallow; do nothing
 
There’s no sunshine to catch
Beautiful nature on sabbatical
The world hoary and somber
 
I can spend the time
To know myself more
