Oh Father God, my steps I place
With trust in you, in every space.
As I journey through life’s winding ways,
Guide me, protect me, fill my days.
With each stride, I seek your hand,
A constant presence, near at hand.
Through valleys dark and mountains steep,
Your love sustains, my soul to keep.
When doubt and fear attempt to sway,
Your voice of comfort guides my way.
Your wisdom whispers in my ear,
Dispelling shadows, making clear.
In every choice and every path,
I seek your counsel, ask your wrath.
For you alone know what is best,
To lead me towards eternal rest.
So Father God, I walk with you,
Protected, blessed, forever true.
Your steps my own, your love my guide,
Until we reach our home beside.
