Father in heaven, hear my plea,
To turn my heart towards others, free.
Near and far, they too are thine,
Loved by you with grace divine.
Help me see beyond my narrow scope,
To embrace the ones I’ve yet to know.
To break down walls that divide,
And extend my love on every side.
In the stranger’s face, let me see
A reflection of your love for me.
In the weary traveler’s tale,
May I offer comfort without fail.
Let compassion guide my every thought,
For those in need, both near and sought.
May I be a beacon of your light,
Dispelling darkness with love’s might.
When others stumble, let me be
A helping hand, setting them free.
When hearts are heavy, let me lend
An ear to listen, without end.
Father, may my heart be like yours,
Filled with love that overflows and pours.
May I live a life that truly shows
Your love for all, from head to toes.
