I Once visited the land of “WAS”
Why I did that
If memory serves
It was just because.
It wasn’t a plan for sea and sand
I just sought to Hang with the leisurely set
But I soon found out, my funds ran dry
While theirs grew perpetually wet.
So I caught a ride on the Aging-shuttle
And ventured over to the land of “Now”
The road was more treacherous than I had suspected
And far more dangerous than life should allow.
But time will tell if I survive
Entering the land of shadowed “Tomorrows”
I might survive and stay alive
But I doubt it lacks of sorrows.
