1. Kafkaesk Wrath
A dozen millisecond dreams
on a shabby, dirty train ride
more comfortable as it seems,
I drink my way to the jazz tide
We sleep right next to Roxy
where absinthe is the alternative
His anti-smoke rants leave me foxy
with drunkship into the dust-locomotive
We stumble back to where I spit
dont remember much of a shower in the dawn
we crawl back into the re-won seat
sleep away whilst for oxygen we yawn
Blue spots and a paper– half torn
and a pick for my August guitar
I bring home from my first trippy journ’
Beyond the clouds, love is my star
II) Neptune’s Bath
Mille miles and two days more southern
I play the front row archaeologist
walk through urbs aeterna forever
aware of their presence, I show interest
My spirit drags when I see the place
where thousands of people had stood
Tonight, tonight Ill travel to space
and I will have smoked, how I wished I could
Now interstellar drive through emotion
see illumined columns and mushrooms of trees
A wonderful night ends in the ocean
where I am naked, the night must have pleased
Sun tan but no relics borne
I stagger into future to re-embark
I am home but chaos turns me torn
a familiar drama, an epic shark
III) Aftermath
I break my pledge once more
I rewind to hear him sing
The plane wants to hit the floor
when I think back of last nights swing
Id die for seconds without gravity
just like I am landed in my dreams
I dont miss my former morality
when I am stranded into hazy streams
This family, for the first time, shows unity
almost together we now stand
but to the old witch, lost in lunacy,
I never listen but think of our band
I brought nothing but hope, all coy
until the morning comes and I fly
what can I say afterwards but what a joy”
Im not alone, yet Im strolly high
