At first glance most people think this poem is purely about a thunderstorm, but I tried to write it in a manner that can be interpreted in different ways. Keep an open mind and let it speak to your emotions.
The raindrops plunge, continuously… Like so many beads of sorrow. Their hurried path is never stalli… Reminding me of a lost tomorrow. Ever flooding,
Cut me open and see The words tumble out Red and angry Staining the wood floor. HURT has spattered
My heart is breaking; Cracking, Flaking, Crashing, Chafing,
Staring out of a crystal window, Glassy greys and chilling blues Viewing the world as only I know No one can fully comprehend my hue… Can we reverse this one-way mirror…
The silence bears down Like a weighted boulder Sitting heavy between us, As every passing moment we grow ol… Sometimes we watch our lives play…
