Joy

The Joy Of The Lord Is Our Strength

If we look beyond our troubles
If we search beyond our pain
We’ll find Joy.

If we press beyond our heartaches
Rejoice, and not complain
We’ll find Joy.

The Scripture says it cometh,
After the night has passed.
This Joy will never leave us,
This Joy will always last.

If we put the past behind us
If we don’t let sorrow blind us,
We’ll find Joy.

How did we lose our Joy?
How did it go away?
Why did we pause so long?
Remembering yesterday.

When we think what God has done,
and know the Victory’s won.
We’ll find Joy.

Oh Joy where have you been?
My good and faithful friend.
Welcome back.

Amen.

We should never lose our Joy. It’s too valuable. I base this poem on Scripture . John 16; 22 says,
Ye now therefore have sorrow, but I will see you again, and your heart shall rejoice, and your Joy no man taketh from you.
Oh how I rejoice when I read this, because God gave me this in my time of sorrow.

Happy is a person who shares his/her joy. Happiness shared is always a great time earned. A joyful poem . Like. Thank you Charlotte.

An ode to joy.

“Dear brothers and sisters, when troubles of any kind come your way, consider it an opportunity for great joy. For you know that when your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow.” James 1:2-3 NLT
