Just the sound of silence,
My mind is at rest.
No worries, no cares, no dismay
no time for all the stress.
I love the sound of quietness,
It’s so Heavenly to me.
Right here in this quiet place,
Is where I need to be.
I love the sound of quietness,
It makes me feel at peace.
When all of life just quiets down
Tempestuous waters cease.
I want to just remain here,
In this Wonderful, quiet place.
Casting all my care upon the Lord,
and walking in His grace.
I won’t worry about tomorrow,
It will take care of itself.
Just the (Sound Of Silence) today,
That’s all, not anything else.

4a"The words of the prophets are Written on the subway walls And tenement halls" Indeed, sometimes we need silence once in a while. I wrote a poem about silence. It's somewhere here.

4aThere’s a park near where I live I go to, sometimes, to muse, listen to crickets chirping punctuated by a bullfrog call. Very relaxing. Nice poem to read to switch off one’s chaotic mind. Like. Thanks Charlotte.
