I was born in Lansing Illinois I am of mixed race
and struggled with that and bipolar most of
my life but poetry saved me my mother was
an alcoholic and verbally abusive but through
poetry I have risen like a Phoenix from the ashes
And I just want to share my gift I have been
writing since I was sixteen .
