The Unknown Woman

She collected rainbows.
She stored sunshine.
She put moonlight away.
She made stars into a crown.
She drew picture clouds.
She sang wind in the trees.

She shared the rainbows.
She gave the gift of sunshine.
She let the moonlight glow.
She let the stars twinkle.
She drew the clouds to Earth.
She led a chorus with the wind.

She grew to womanhood.
She remained a child.
She grew in wisdom.
She lived in wonder wild.
She left the tribes richer.
She lives uknown through the ages.
