The Wind

The wind went through me,
it carried the yellow, orange
and red leaves lightly
on the air.
Another change is coming,
I could feel this body sway
like the oaks all around me,
the weight of age lifted
and the goodness of the
earth and my life,
saturated my senses.
Something deathless
within, stirred,
with a promise
of always being
here.

I guess same subject as my latest post, though mine was tongue in cheek. I like!

This getting older business is not so easy! Thanks for reading Vic.
