Violence cycles
Both within lands and between them.
Violence cycles
Through lords of loss, maniacal.
Leaves ruins of nations dim,
People see only fires, grim.

This is the seventh poem in my month long Rondelet marathon! I wrote this poem in reflection of an essay I wrote on the cycles perpetuated by violent revolution. Though not an original topic, this was my first time analyzing the nature of violence fighting violence in a scholarly manner and sparked quite a deal of inspiration in me.
