Why go outside
when one can buy what the world shows?
Why go outside?
Rain sounds far better when I’m dry
Perhaps one can’t smell the roses
but one can hear through doors closed so

This is the fifteenth poem in my month long Rondelet marathon! I wrote this poem in contemplation and slight criticism of my instructors use of nature sounds during essay writing time. I found it interesting to realize that people SELL the sounds of nature to others, and even more interesting that people are willing to buy them.
