Feelings

i’ve never met somebody
who set my blood
on fire quite like this
 
with flames moving
throughout my body
with wondering hunger
 
i have a strange
tingling sensation in
the pit of my stomach
 
my heart races when
i’m near you and i
think i may be in love
 
it’s new to me
so i’ll let you
lead the way
 
i’m confused as to
how you could
ever care for me
 
but for now i’ll
let you show me
this world of fire
