Springtime
Spring will come and so will happiness.
Hold on. Life will get warmer.
– Anita Krizzan
Winter’s gone
Good riddance
Nature sings
Ode to joy
Revival
Renewal
Renaissance
It’s springtime
March madness
April rains
May flowers
Bees buzzing
Butterflies
Fluttering
Hummingbirds
Visiting
Wild flowers
Red robins
Chiming in
Winter’s gone
It’s springtime
Red roses
In full bloom
White lilies
In a pond
Bluebonnets
In hillsides
Marigolds
In the marsh
Columbines
In the shade
Winter’s gone
It’s springtime
On the grass
We lay down
Tho’ still wet
Evening dew
From last night
But just fine
The blue sky
We looked up
The sun’s rays
Caressing
Our faces
Comforting
Our tired souls
Winter’s gone
It’s springtime
Almost like
Forever
There we lay
Prayerful.
Sun, we soaked
Through our skin
To our bones
To remove
Winter chill
Reviving
Our spirits
Basking in
The beauty
Of nature
Unsurpassed!!
Winter’s gone
It’s springtime
At long last!
