Spark in the Night

As I wandered into the darkness
My eyes were straining to see
Anything that could help me out
Anything that would set me free
As I strained to look around
A spark began to glow
Pushing the darkness back
As the fleck began to grow
The light began to blind me
My eyes too use to the dark
Still I walked towards the light
Hoping it won’t break my heart
Now I’m just standing here
Gazing at the blinding light
Happy she makes me feel
Like everything will be alright
