The Squirrel

One day a long time ago, the wind was howling
The ground covered in snow
I was hurting and I asked for the pain to stop
I looked to the heavens, and I started to question
What did I do wrong? The existence of God?
Why am I not happy? Do we really reap what we sow?
Then all of a sudden the snow ceased
The howling calmed to a gentle breeze
Hopping along what did I see
It was a squirrel, he was sent just for me
He sat down beside me, this sight was so rare
For you see the trees were all bare
There wear no leaves and his eye caught a glare
Right at that moment the pain disappeared
The universe had spoken, i had nothing to fear
