He Stands by me
Having a relationship with God
My God stands by me
Never have I been forsaken
Yes my God stands by me
My spiritual eyes He have awaken
The veils have been removed
His arms opened wide
More than enough He has proved
That He is standing by my side
Though many times I falter
Not proud but not ashamed to admit
I pray and leave them at the altar
Forword still! I will never quit
Thank you God for standing by me
Through my Valleys and over my hills
Have it not been for you where would I be
I am a fool for Christ but rejoicing still
He is standing by me
