Written Clearly
To every one who struggle to find the words to speak.
Have I ever written clearly?
Have my words been too vague?
You know those words as well..
Unless amnesia became well known
But for you
Have I been vague?
Have I touched your heart?
With words alone it changes
We all have those quiet whispers
Throughout it all the storm rages
With all the regrets
But have I touched your heart?
Complexity is too hard
Yet it is a way for closure
So listen to a calming bard
Don’t lose your composure
I’ll write more for you
It’s for all the readers
I write for your hopes and aspirations
Even though I’ll never see her
Poetry with meaning is a continuation
For all those silent whispers
For we are a nation
For we stand together!
I’ll loudly say my own whisper!
Don’t falter young ones and old alike
I truly do love her!
So don’t stand behind me... go try!
Live for the moment
Don’t lose faith
It’s all god sent
So for now how about we all say
Did we write clearly?!

I wrote this when I was in a broken phase of my life. I wanted a poem that represents my feelings and aspirations that I know many of my peers and colleagues have felt. I know that we all have those regrets that storm inside of us till this day. But my hopes of this poem is that maybe when you read it, you can write or speak clearly what is troubling your heart and say what needs to be said. I said my whisper. Now say yours.
