I LOVE A STRANGER

A WORD TO A DEAR FREIND

I love a stranger
I met you and you were nothing but a stranger.
We sat down and had many conversations.
Never knew that I was going to say this,
but...,
I love a stranger
I love a stranger.
Summer was warm.
Winter is cold.
And by now we had built a friendship.
We rowed our ship to the strangest of places even to the bold.
We were scared as one.
Happy having fun.
Sad in the rain
ship nearly sunk
kept it afloat,
never complained.
Yet at the time never had it crossed my mind that I would indeed say this,
I love a stranger,
I love a stranger,
months had passed.
We happened so fast.
Next thing you know.
We now have grown,
and this is no longer any relationship known.
I now loved a stranger no longer alone.
I love a stranger
to me you’re a sister now.
You stand out in the crowd.
I applaud you.
I cry in joy when you succeed.
I cry in pain when i am sad at your feet.
I laugh pleasantly when it’s you I see.
You take away all the defeat.
Winters are now warm,
and summers warm souls,
when your story is told.
Laughter upholds us all and new love unfolds,
I love a stranger,
no longer alone,
I love a stranger.
