Like everybody else I’m struggling to find the words,
So if it’s cool with you I’ll put my feelings into verse.
Although it’s been confirmed I find it hard to comprehend,
How many people have now subsequently lost a friend.
I speak in present tense instead of past because you are,
And always will be with us, shining because you’re a star.
The life and soul of anything resembling a party,
A soldier raving on the front line of the baseline army.
